First of all, Hollywood only do biopics to celebrate consensus political heroes or mainstream big hitters. They would never want to encourage independents. Independents don't make biopics because they're too busy doing useful things like making great film art, like Mr. Kaufman himself. He doesn't need that kind of attention.
