Be honest with me on this /tv/: I don't care if nothing happens but is it at least nicely directed? Lynch used to be such a visually gifted, formalist filmmaker. Rewatch Eraserhead. Then compare it to Inland Empire, where he completely stopped caring, the digital cinematography looks absolutely digusting. Completely senile, zero visual effort. Is he at least trying to make aesthetically interesting scenes this time, or is he the same lazy Lynch from Inland Empire?

Honestly usually I like the Lindelof/Lynch thing but there's no real indication that they'll ever connect except casually for 30 seconds. The small town aesthetic isn't there anymore and the new characters mixed with the old spreads out the plots so far.

Also the retard Coop thing got old after the second episode he was back but they keep at it
