Rhonda best girl and would never let in the woman's room an OP who starts the next general before the previous was on autosage.
I posted this in the last thread but it was at the very end so I'm going to post it again:
I found out Lynchs home address. I'm thinking about stopping by and seeing if I can talk to him. I live like 2 hours away. Should I film it? Maybe the camera would make him more comfortable because it's something he's familiar with? Should I bring food or drinks with me? I was thinking about buying some of Kyle Maclaughlans wine and bringing it over. I think that'd be really cool. Do you have any other suggestions? He doesnt live too far so I dont see why him and I cant be friends. I know this kind of sounds like I'm joking but I am not. I have loved Lynch since I was a child and I would be so happy to meet him.
EDIT: Okay I will definetly bring a camera with me. Maybe I can get a great reaction from him if he gets mad at me, but I really hope thats not the case. I can do it tomorrow probably, so who knows. Maybe in 24 hours I'll be hanging out with Gordon Cole himself.

Hey guys, second post here but I have a theory.
I, like many people, have been puzzled and somewhat annoyed by Lynch's insistance on spending so much screen time on Dougie. Spending so much time on a seemingly unrelated, and honestly boring, story is not the Twin Peaks we know and love. But I just thought of something that could explain it all. What if Dougie IS Cooper?
It would definitely explain why this character is seemingly so important. We haven't seen Cooper since he got sucked into that weird portal, or so we're lead to believe. But what if he switched places with Dougie and everyone just THINKS he's Dougie. It would explain why Dougie suddenly had that familiar suit on when we saw him immediately after, and the fact that he has no memories of his life and family. The only weird thing is the fact that Cooper would also seem to have none of his own memories, which doesn't make sense. Although, "Dougie" does seem to be familiar with certain aspects of Cooper's life (agent, case files, fascination with the officer's badge). If my theory is correct, Lynch is honestly a genius because the clues have been under our noses the whole time.
A lot of people probably thought we saw Dougie's Doppelganger in the Lodge (for some reason), but my theory is that that was ACTUALLY Dougie, after swapping places with Cooper. The story would certainly make much more sense that way, but who knows with David Lynch.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Sorry if someone else has already posted something similar.

At the time of watching, I loved Windom but it bothered me how tame he was - like shooting a crossbow bolt into a barrel instead of something more graphic or cruel. I've kind of warmed up to that side of him, though, since it makes the finale all the more shocking.

I think it's funny that you're trying to school everyone and show how comprehensive your knowledge is when you yourself don't realize that Dougie is a construct, not a real person, and that he's a 40–50-year-old man who's only been on earth for less than 25 years.
P.S. the ring was stuffed down the Major Briggs torso to lead the FBI to Janey E and Cooper so that the thing that put it down the torso could be with BOB again. Mr. Hastings' secretary…there was something WRONG with her. Then there was something wrong with Mr. Hastings. It missed Booper in New York. It passed through South Dakota on its way to TWIN PEAKS. It's the thing in the glass box.

Yeah Mr. Hastings gave the secretary a ride home because she was possessed by Glass Box Thing / All-Black Lodge Spirit (there was something wrong with her…uh, with her car, yeah, her car, totally not with her). Then it jumped into Hastings and rekt Davenport and set up the scene with the Major Briggs set of fingerprints #16 that seem to be readily accessible.
What you should be asking yourself is why there was a crazy Danwarp effect when Booper shot Mrs. Hastings. Mr. Hastings murdered Ruth Davenport but he did so while possessed. This is the first time we've seen a series of possessions (secretary, Hastings) that were effective despite the victim not willingly letting in the possessor.

Windom Earle is inquestionably the best part of season two, simply because what enshrouds the Deleuzian representation of negation in “The Black Lodge” is by nature (W)indom (E)arle. We, the pure ample aspiration, the capital v-Viewer are held fantastically in a grip of pleasure as "solicitude", certainty as “knowingness” and “The Black Lodge” as ontological blockchain/godhead. TMFAP is absolute fact in opposition but the baroque villainy of WE's (and any Lovecraftian) the same sin to die “now” as on the path to Madness. The conditional “It” (DC) creates nothing in response, Earle's own humanity is reflected in his oeuvre of disguise-personalities. (performed) To WE (& the normative Cooper &Briggs) the Implacability of unsure sentiment is Earle’s selfenforcing principle, pleasure--simplicity. In Palmer, the reprised intelligences move towards psychosomatic transgression. WE's sickness is symptom & myth unlike the Palmer daughter his active agent is not important, but “normal” and yet pronouncedly considerable as such, bidding. “We a the, of not can he.” The subject of Earle is in an undiluted terrace viewed viewers become wrote wonders, noting nothing Indian anyhow in the Black Lodge (negation).
Then, there’s Earle, the something coupling with Lodge entities, (call it “force”, of what? of course: illusion. – by since And because of supremacy In ALL perceptions, (rare & cloistered the issue may be) what we then Now view as reality, IS,) [in WE's] subjection a full picture. In an open letter to Kenneth Welsh “Windom Earle” one asks to which if not to want introduction (Mark Frost) gigantic of up wrote run life, (MF) introduction, revelation, dreams, & value system, AS Windom Earle hAS in the Black Lodge. (the rudimentary transition in S2 of Windom A into form Windom B.) Perhaps to “comfyfags“ will greet these upon death, a paradoxical death for those who existence infects.

So if every entity has a doppelganger in the lodge, would BOB as well? Would it be good?
>>83954640
With what, a 2.63 MB webm at 278p? Hilariously disgusting, I bet it's 23.976fps and not the true 24fps framerate also.

FROSTED
Opinion time anons: I've seen FWWM multiple times, and now I want to watch the Missing Pieces. How do you guys recommend it? The Q2 edit for the full 4 hour kino experience, or is it better broken up just in Missing Pieces? The edit seems like it would be more immersive.
>>83954738
It's worth seeing after you've had your true feels from the original release.
>>83954585
>>83953528
>>83954646
Doppelanger's are an individual person's evil side, Bob is everyone's evil so he doesn't get one.
>>83954677
well now you know what you must do
>>83954759
Right, but I'm asking how you guys reccomend it, the Q2 edit or solo Missing Pieces. I've already seen the full movie multiple times
>1/19/91: Episode 20 - Jean Renault is killed in a showdown with Cooper and the sheriff's department at Dead Dog Farm. Windom Earle kills a vagrant as part of his "chess game" with Agent Cooper.
>Twin Peaks has reached a higher plain of excellence after the LP storyline. Instead of having a crowd of hip-sters out to catch the latest fad, we have moved to focused crowd of people who enjoy fine literature, philosophy, and intellect as well as visual, symbolic, and mythic reflection. I'm glad the chaff is outa here. Now we can return to excellence with out the continual wining of tv critics for instant gratification. Those with a 5 minute attention span, please watch Carol and Company. Those who wish to see fine television, we now have a top-notch show.

He's not a contrarian, he just recognizes the Windom Earle plot line as the pinnacle of the series.

I really dislike when Lynch puts these old clips into the new season, because as great as 3 is that season 2 finale is unbelievably better

What
I have to watch FWWM, is the Q2 edit the film and the missing feces combined? Should I just watch that?
What did Lynch mean by this?
>>83955150
no, Q2 is definitely worse than the release film, it ruins the pacing and tone in a lot of ways, but if you've seen the release version it's cool
>>83955150
watch FWWM and then the missing pieces
>>83955166
SNAKE EYES
>>83955062
Season 2 finale is my favorite episode of any show. So fucking good. And Lynch literally fixed the trainwreck the show had become in just one episode.
>KID..? HAHA, I'LL SHOW YOU KID!!
>*proceeds to hit small child with his vehicle*
what did david lynch mean by this

In general I agree, but I really liked the contrast of the bright red laughing madness of the s2 clip with the stone cold Mr. C in the muted, lifeless prison.
