The comics are just okay for what they are. First 6 issues actually had good art until Arland took over. The storylines are just kind of samey now, Kirkman under uses anything that could be interesting, Rick or some other character will probably give a speech every other issue.

I think both Morgan and Negan suck by now. I liked Negan in the beginning, but he's just an edgy faggot, who acts like he has rules, but then ends up always making exceptions, especially for girls. Also, dunno why JDM got so skinny for the job, doesn't make a very impressive antagonist.

Half the problem is with the audience. This shows appeals to the lowest common denominator because of zombies and they will (in large numbers) excuse shitty writing as plot building, characterization, etc.

As for the show, it takes advantage of that by having nothing of importance happen except at the end of the seasons or in season premieres. Part of the reason for this is that the show has no end goal to build towards and simply rides the coattails of the superior comics.

Why is it never winter? Does it not snow in the Americas ?
