>It was now that my mother left. Maybe she went to the bathroom, maybe she just wanted to leave me.
>I go to the big red doors, to see my film.
>I was happy. I know that I was happy.
>A hand on my shoulder
>An usher is smiling down at me "How old are you young man?"
>I tell him I am twelve. I point to the badge I am wearing
>Something sets in his eyes
>"Are you here alone?"
