Wish I knew, anon... my stepdad likes Red Dwarf, I know that much.
That TNG pic reminds me of something I sometimes think about... it's kind of weird how in fictional universes where actors have definitively portrayed the characters, many of the fans end up fixated on the way those actors look. So, for example, everyone imagines Picard as Patrick Stewart. Then you end up with Star Trek books that have drawings of actors on the front, like those performances are permanently frozen into that fictional universe.

Honestly I think that's why nobody takes any of the written Star Trek works seriously. When actors give things definitive images, voices, and quirks, you're going to read any written work with the same characters as if it was a fan fiction of the TV show. You just can't take it seriously.
You can take a book and pretty accurately make it into a TV show, but not the other way.
I'm sure I'm not alone on this one
Aw shit, you beat me to it OP. Except it's the original series because my dad is a patrician
>>83930266
this. I love it as well
>>83929990
I think it would be weirder if Star Trek books had pictures like this on the cover. Are you Chinese? They do this all the time, I thought it was just incompetence.
>>83929732
my dad doesn't have interests or tastes outside of bodily desires are gambling.
>>83929732
my dads favorite shows are drinking his rent away, and telling me of all his kids he's dissapointed in me the most. my brother is in jail for trying to rob a 7/11 for meth money, and my sister has 3 black kids from 3 different black guys, while im putting myself through a trade program. so fuck that guy

Mash is his favorite.
I've never asked him what his all-time favorite is, but I know his favorite for the last while has been Fringe.
I'm his only kid that worked out and he had a pretty rough time raising us but he ended up being a pretty good dad all around, and I'm almost certain that's what makes him like this show

My dad also enjoyed Star Trek shows
but to mix it up
>>83930489
Sounds like there's more to this story than meets the eye. Why would your dad be disappointed in you the most if you are the only child that is trying to put his life together?
>>83929732
I think it's Hogan's Heroes. He also watches a lot of WWII documentary series on the history channel.
My father is 58. Yes shame.
I like it myself as well.
I think it's GITS SAC but I'm not entirely certain.he's a reifag tho
