Anyone still watch dvds on a tube tv?
Watching mad max fury road on dvd on an older glass screen tube tv. I haven't in forever, got a ton of dvd copies of newer movies that came with all my Blu-rays i never used. Sure, it's not as sharp as an blu-ray, the colors aren't as vivid, buf there's something comfy about it. I don't know if it's nostalgia talking, but it's a pretty good way to watch kino.
I think HD brings out the flaws in cgi-laden films. The hobbit looks like a cartoon in 1080, but the dvd on tube tv, and it looks like LOTR.
Yup, much comfier this way.
