As a conservative, I think there are many things worth fighting for in this country. I do not believe Last Man Standing is one of them. Maybe they canceled it because Tim Allen voted for Trump. I don't know, and I don't care because it's a dumb show that I didn't watch.

Isn't it more likely that by being the only show "aimed at conservatives" that is was an outlier for their advertisers? I remember that the Beavis and Butthead revival did really well in a certain demo for MTV, but not the one they advertise to so it was canned.

The official reason is that the show is produced by another company, ABC just airs it, and pays the other company for the rights. With the number of episodes growing, the show could have started being syndicated, and the contract stipulated that ABC would have to start paying a lot more. They didn't think it was worth it.
