Of course I watched it, but I genuinely could not tell what his feelings about anything were. His interactions with his wife were so awkward and yet he woke up every morning and kissed her a whole bunch. And he didn't seem to care about making copies of his poems to the extent that he carelessly left the book sitting around despite his wife's warnings, but then he was all devastated when they got destroyed.
