Is there a reason for? Hollywood is falling over itself casting Brits, couldn't they find a Brit to play Sherlock?

He's ok but I'm not a fan of the accent, outside of him Rachel McAdams also sticks out. It's just strange that they can't cast Brits in British roles but then you get a British Superman, Spiderman, etc.

There's probably much more to casting than worrying about where the actor is from. WB was probably trying to run off his Iron Man popularity.
