In an age where people are eating Marvelshit, it's hard to call Transformers dumb when critics are loving equally dumb shit in capeshit form.

Revenge Of The Fallen is the best Transformers film if only due to pure sheer unadultered insanity. Michael Bay unhinged amidst the scriptless chaos is truly a wonder to see. I'm saying this completely unironically, Bay's movies must be stupid but his work as a director is almost avant garde in its insane hyperkinetic saturated baroquism.

I remember saying I enjoyed this movie back when it came out in 2011 and everyone on /tv/ called me a shithead. Unfair how life works

I agree anon. I don't know why shit like Thor 2, Iron man 2, Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange got a free pass.

You know what? I like Michael Bay. It's impressive how he manages to even give soulless, corporate toy commercials like the Transformers movies his own directorial style.

Also, Pain and Gain is legitimitely good and I stand by that.

Absolutely based.

the first 3 were fine, had passable CGI at least
age of extinction looked like absolute shit though, they really didn't spend enough on CGI and the plot, while interesting, was executed awfully

Still the best Transformers movie to date.
