Why does /tv/ hate horror films? Every time there's a thread about horror movies they barely get a response.
The only ones I've seen actually get some response are It Follows and The VVitch.

Four of those films are hard terror, though.

Pro Tip: If a film doesn't get a lot of responses on /tv/ then it's generally considered to be a good movie.
But lurk more, The Shining always gets great discussion threads.
Because its a genre that dosent add anything new besides the couple you listed.

horror peaked with blair witch 2

Because horrorfags aren't on /tv/ all the time. Otherwise there's only discussions on those two and other meme/flavor of the month flicks, haters who think modern cashgrab horror is the extent of the genre. There's been good threads here that get 300+ replies but they only happen maybe once a week.

these are literally the beating heart of the horror genre
you are the hater and the pleb

I never said I hated them, just that typical horror thread on /tv/ turns stale if anons in the thread think the whole genre is limited to those movies.

The thing always gets a lot of replies here
