>Everything obnoxiously flies at the screen

spy kids was so fucking good

At least a title like "Spy Kids 3-D" you know what to expect, but movies like Oz The Great and Powerful have no business being in tacky 3D.
stereo 3d will die off soon on consumer displays,
but movie theaters as we know them will die out before their 3d projectors break in 30 years or whenever they stop making avatar films.
the future is biological VR, environmental scanning, holography, immersion and live inverative spaces.
any 2d content or smaller features will be viewed though this same technology.

>new harold and kumar movie

none of these will ever overtake conventional kino
people don't go to movies to experience an amusement park attraction. film is an art form even if it isn't some obscure french cinema. an art form people enjoy. just like the book industry is still doing perfectly fine in 2017 even if we have video games and interactive vr pornography.

sorry, youre correct. im thinking about meme tech and this low resolution 3d immersion.
2d film on a fixed view portal imposing its ideas couldent be translated to anything but, unless its a VR cinima expirance with snoopdog and tupacs hologram reacting to anyfilm that could made
im not fixeing the spelling mistakes

this literally only happens in bottom feeder tier childrens movies and capeshit. if you are watching either you deserve the rope.
Completely killed Nux's death for me.

>Pay good money for the 3D effect
>Movie barely uses it
This is worse
