saw ginger snaps 2 last nite after seeing the first one the nite before.
it was fucking good. it was really good. maybe even better than the first one in some aspects.
the shift from the black comedy/horror tone and puberty themes of the first one to the psychological horror and substance addiction/depression themes of the second one was executed perfectly.
anyone wanna talk about these films?
and does the third one stand on its own legs as much as the second one?

Told you. Best horror movies of the 2000s.

Isn't this the girl from Stephen King's It?
>and does the third one stand on its own legs as much as the second one?
Nah, it's blandly entertaining at best and has no real point to it. It's the only one out of the three I've only seen once.
>>83738754
It is.
Yes, but that Ghost girl was so fucking annoying, holy shit, almost as much as the Chad who had his way with her.
>>83737983
Yeah, and you made a thread after you saw the first film. Do you make /tv/ threads after every fucking film you watch? You want attention that badly.
Are these the only good Canadian horror movies?
>>83737983
First one is my favorite horror movie. Second one is good for the most part but I really just don't like Ghost.
Third one just isn't for me. I couldn't get into the setting.

Horror is a shit genre.

It's definitely better than the first.
I like the whole werewolf =pubity theme.
>>83739528
You need to go back.
>>83737983
I liked that feeling of bleakness of the first one, I still love ginger snaps, the second one I found it a bit more formulaic and yes that ghost was just so over the top
I like the scene in the first one where the bitch walks into school and just starts macking everyone left and right.
>>83737983
Fucking love these movies.
The ending of GS2 is simultaneously the darkest and the funniest moment in the entire series.

Am I the only one who thought Brigitte was the cuter one of the sisters?
>>83740873
I didn't even know that was a Canadian flick.

>>83737983
>and does the third one stand on its own legs as much as the second one?
Nope. It's basically a remake of the first one, only set in colonial times
>>83744443
>>83744696
Do you have more high-res Emily?

The first is best, but the second is surprisingly great in its own right. The third dropped the ball, though.

I don't know what you dudes are seeing in this girl.
1st and 2nd are about as good, both fantastic fuckin horror movies. 3rd wasn't bad for what it was but still deviates from the rest of the franchise enough to throw you off. But it has some Kat sideboob
which reminds me, Katherine>Emily
Ghost is redpilled, disregard everything and acquire doggos.
This movie made me feel bad that I wasn't nicer to the gloomy outcast girls in my HS, at least until I remembered that those girls were actually genuinely unlikable trailer trash.
Never saw any of the sequels though, judging by this thread I should probably at least give the first sequel a shot.

This movie is fucking great
