I understand they probably can't continue Ben and Justin's story but I really want something set in the same universe. Would love to see a prequel about Belyakov and Scudder's time as Avatars.

I hate how Carnivale has became so forgotten despite making HBO along with Rome what it is today in making the average TV episode as expensive as a typical movie.

First season is great and I love the ambiguity of it even though it's a little obvious. Second season is more lore focused but the tone is a little different, definitely worth watch.

In my opinion it's THE definite cancelled early 00s show that needs to be seen. Never really saw the hype for Firefly, don't know why or maybe I'm just not a Whedon person but Carnivale is leagues better than it in every aspect and deserves more recognition.
