Not original, but a pretty decent horror film masquerading as hard-SF.

Once it established that no one was safe (when Reynolds died) and you saw how badly it fucked up that rat, it actually had some pretty taut suspense. Good twist ending, too.

Recommended.

I enjoyed watching the alien evolve

The alien was too adorable.

Ending kinda confused me

So why and how did the escape pods switch their courses? Did the alien do it?

this was one of those movies where i felt insulted by the twist ending. i enjoyed the scifi elements, and thought it was harmless fun, but the whole two escape pod switcharoo made my eyes roll into themselves
