On any given college campus, in any given freshman hall, on any given floor, you can find at least one fight club poster

It's only "I'm 14 and this is deep" if you ignore the ending and the fact that Tyler Durden is clearly an immature and unbalanced manifestation of the Narrator's own discontent unconscious.

Any Zack Snyder movie.

movies arent deep

How is the movie trying to be deep?
It's just showing the life of a damaged, reticent teenager. It never tries to be anything more than that.
movies suck

Wow I didn't know the creator of Samurai Jack made live action movies before cartoons.

This. I like his movies, but they're not deep. They're cool action movies. Not much more.

Usually these charts are fun but this ones retarded, jump scares are literally what killed the genre, they're not scary after you've seen one horror movie with them.

Jump scares are scary.
'Atmospheric' shit is just bad drama
Why does this board hate accessible films with a plot that goes slightly deep? Is it the fans? It's popularity? Genuinely interested to know.

Yes
requiem for a dream (still love it tho)

They're really not though, maybe if they switched it up somewhat but in 99% of films it's either something "scary" looking screaming or something making a noise that ends up not being a bad thing. I honestly don't understand how these "shocking" moments can be conveyed as horror. And isn't drama the point to it? Getting involved mentally into a film and letting your mind scare you?

>Jump scares are scary.
Not really.
i feel like snowpiercer might be this but i don't think i've spoken to any 14 yos since it came out. it's a cool movie but i felt like it took its metaphors a little seriously
>>83578462
Yes they are that's why they are popular, because they are scary stop being a contrarian manchild
>>83577287
That was my freshman dorm room I'm afraid
>>83578500
Doesn't scare me. Maybe you're just a big pussy.
>>83578500
They're popular because women and effeminate men flock to these movies because the films themselves are popular. Prove me wrong. Also name a film with jump scares that is scary.
And most other Kaufman movies

But that was a good movie.
