These guys look pretty spooky tho.

I saw some behind the scenes of Cruise fighting them. Good to know they are not all CGI but practical otherwise I do not like the CGI cloud storm.

How does the 1999 cloud storm look more realistic?

Isn't it possible to film in a giant studio with a green screen - get a wind machine and just go crazy with the most giant fans and then put this over the female mummy in the movie?

Of course you can CGI some of the cloud BUT incorportate half of it to be practical.

Surely it will look better.

The problem with many modern day movies is that I find them to be too "clean" and "artificial" looking.

But this Mummy movie isnt too bad. They have a lot of practicals in the desert and Cruise in that arab terrorist place is all practical so that's cool.
