this god damn. Winter Soldier would be a genuine 10/10 if the climax took place inside a warehouse or just the SHIELD headquarters with none of the hellicarrier bullshit. It's so tonally out of place with everything leading up to it and all the finale really needs is Cap vs Bucky and Fury/Black Widow dealing with Robert Redford. I don't even know why Black Widow was in the movie at all desu, considering her and Cap barely interacted in The Avengers. It'd have made more sense just to replace her character with Agent 13.

Civil War ending with Cap/Bucky vs Stark was such a better ending than them putting aside their differences to fight the other winter soldiers. I was so pissed when I thought the film was headed in that direction, but I think it was an intentional bait and switch.

And it was the best finale of any MCU film by far. Except for maybe the first Iron Man film. I've seen every film except for the ones after Civil War, and I can't remember what happens in the climax of

But then again I liked the Mandarin twist because I don't give a shit about the comic character and I also like Shane Black's writing style a lot. I think IM3 just suffers a lot from being part of the MCU as a whole, but in a bubble it's entertaining as fuck.

how the fuck? The first Iron Man had like a nothing budget and every other movie costs at least $200 million but they still look like shit. I mean obviously not 100% real but there were no moments of shitty CGI that broke my immersion like there are in the rest of the films.

I both love and hate that scene. Love that they attempted to recreate the fateful moment when Bane broke Batman. Hate that they had Batman completely forget all of his ninja training and knowledge of martial arts and he decides to just go with haymakers and elbow shots. There's a difference between cutting two shots together, and cutting multiple shots together so you can't even tell what the fuck is going on.

90% of the time in an action movie like these, it's due to the actors having absolutely no fucking clue how to fight, and them constantly needing to have separate shots spliced together to make it look at all decent.

I mean, you can even use very precise choreography to get around the issue of making too many cuts, but that takes time and money, of which Marvel cares very little about.

He was definitely 55 in TDKR. They were just taking inspiration from that in the same sense they took inspiration from Knightfall. I guess it is somewhat realistic becaus doing what Bruce was doing for even just a few years would take a massive toll on his body. Considering that it didn't appear like he was actively working out he also lost a step or two so it is easy to see why he gassed out so quickly. Also he thought he could just drop Bane like any other thug was also a miscalculation on his part.
