I shouldn't take anything on /tv/ seriously ever. I know.

But I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, and while I love the way suit 1 looks, it's not something a character could make at home. When it gets torn up and shit, it totally ruins the idea that Peter is just some poor motherfucker who got spider powers. Plus, Maguire was super old for the role he was trying to play, which wasn't supposed to be a "man" yet.

The modern suit has a more legitimate backstory, with Stark providing it, and looks like Pete could stitch it up in a pinch.

I have no complaints yet about Holland.
