Just watched that yesterday. It was fucking great. I think he was a little chattier than the two others in the trilogy. I loved how he infiltrated the gang, the part where they get caught by Indio, and of course the final shootout.
The third one still stands above it for me though. Because it's more of an adventure with a loose goal, with the three actors gravitating towards the same goal because they must. The Outlaw Josey Wales had the same great feeling of adventure to it.
