Yes it did. Their 'quirky' relationship killed the comedy every time they shit an episode up with it. Second worst part was Roz having a baby without a father. Besides that Martin and Frasier held it together. Even Niles did well in scenes with his brother, but it all fell apart whenever he and Daphne were on screen together.

First of all, Frasier is not a psychologist he's a psychiatrist.

Psychiatrists go to Medical school, they do autopsies they become qualified doctors/surgeons (ever watch Hannibal?) and it is a notoriously difficult degree to study. You understand that psychiatry isn't that 3 year degree bullshit about 'yelling gives people stress' which is called psychology, psychiatrists have to pass several years of biochemistry too to understand neurochemistry. They treat serious illnesses like schizophrenia and occupy a very important field. I know very few women who could pass med school which is a pre-requisite for psychiatry so therefore I don't imagine there being many women psychiatrists.

You understand Psychiatry isn't a field of science, is a specialisation AFTER medicine.

I'm going to spell it out for you, you had to become a fully licensed doctor before you go to psychiatric school. As in they go to the *same* medical school a physician goes to. So by definition they know at least as much as a regular doctor.

Also the brain is real, why should we have doctors for the pancreas, doctors for the liver, but not doctors for the brain? Does no one have mental illness? You can disagree with the behaviour of modern psychiatrists, but you cannot dismiss the concept of a doctor for the brain. Doing so is literally retarded.

Psychiatry is based on sound chemical principles. We know how neurons interact, we know how hormones affect the brain, we can 'objectively measure' the affects of dopamine and adrenaline and all kinds of shit. We can also scan the brain and determine which regions have been damaged, etc etc.
