I never watched 3 but 2 was horseshit ending on a cliffhanger. 1 is the best one and even critics agree simply because A) it hadn't tired down every trope/plot point like the following did and B) it was actually fun and had characters doing meaningful stuff.

I never really bothered to check people's opinion on these movies but I really liked the first 3. 4 was pretty terrible and I don't really even feel like watching this one, definitely not paying for it at least.

I've never understood the appeal in these films and why do they consider Jack to be such a staple character.
Jack does jackshit (hehe) in most films, we barely see him in swashbuckling action or crafting some masterful plan. He's usually just a wildcard who happens to be in the right place at the right time
