To be fair, its not fun to actually have them run a company. Its fun to see them try new things until they find something that works. This show will end when they find that one thing. Nobody wants to see them actually do business on a day to day basis.

The biggest issue I see with the show is they refuse to really introduce new characters. It makes no sense how it's always the same 10 people in the fucking valley doing everything.

Why the fuck is "this guy fucks" investor still in the picture? Why was Gavin still in the picture? Why the fuck was cuck boy from S1 brought back? Haley Joel was one of the first new out of the blue characters in the entire season, and he probably will end up just basically being a cameo.

Controversial post: I'm okay with how the show is progressing so far, and enjoyed tonight's episode

I think a lot of people (myself included) were expecting a serial plot, and it turns out that it's more episodic than serial. Fine by me. Each episode has had new elements involved and mostly fresh jokes. Even the theme has changed: Originally they were struggling to make it, then they tried going big, and now they're working on a new project.

Pied Piper hasn't had meteoric Facebook-tier growth, but what kind of plot would they have if Pied Piper was bigger each episode? Maybe better, who knows.

Silicon Valley is about as strong as it's been, it's just that the Season 1 honeymoon phase has worn off.

That's a good point. I'm about to re-watch the episode. Last night I was tired and wasn't in the right mood. My impression was that Erlich was the most entertaining actor and plot motivator in the episode. It made me realize without him the show is over. I hope Russ takes his spot but I suspect it will be either Baghead or Stick Lady.
