I don't know about that, I just found that the characters working crude language into everything got tiring, and the angry-face of Selina when things inevitably don't go her way just became very samey. The daughter and her girlfriend (wife?) was lame imo, because both were terrible characters and they seemed to have story arcs involving them too much.

I will agree that the lesbian subplot is stupid and the characters are annoying but I still think the writing is sharp as hell. It makes me laugh, I don't care that a lot of it is shoehorned into the plot

No, but the former outh korean president was a good example of why women make the best presidents and it was her turn popular vote

I haven't watched it in some time so I'll take your word for it. I think I stopped at S2 or S3 and watched some episodes sporadically so that probably has to do with not enjoying it as much.
