Saw this for the first time. I expected Arnie's performance to be the only thing to this movie, but it was actually a well-put together action flick and Kyle Reese was kinda awesome. I don't understand why he was such a forgettable character in Genysis.
But the 80s were fucking weird.
>>83256058
Wait, this movy came out in the 80s? I always thought it was a 90s thing.
>>83256154
T2 came out in the early 90s. First movie was 84 I believe.
>>83256237
Holy shit, just realized I've never seen the original Terminator. I thought T2 was the first one.

There were two Terminators, it's an honest mistake.
>>83256639
No it isn't, only a failed pro wrestler would make that mistake.
>>83256455
Me like two years ago. I finally knew why Sarah was so spooked about seeing him again. It's funny how will the second one works without the lore from the first one.
>>83256058
>I don't understand why he was such a forgettable character in Genysis.
Two words: Jai Courtney.
>>83256859
Now imagine the people who walked into T2 without knowing the twist.
>>83257044
most people did. the marketing gave it away.

YOU GOT ME BURNIN
This thread is making me feel old as fuck.
Also;
>The Terminator > T2: Judgement Day
>>83257275
I only watched T2 & 3 as a kid. Never found out that there was a first one until a couple years ago :^)
>>83257326
Childhood is preferring T2. Adulthood is realizing T1 is actually better.
>>83257492
That's precisely me. As a kid I adored T2 and watched it countless times as soon as I got my hands on the VHS. Now that I'm older, The Terminator is always a more satisfying watch. The horror of being chased by an unstoppable machine is very well fleshed-out in the first movie, and the soundtrack just makes everything much better
Whoever wrote Genysis shall never get a job again, it's utter vomit-tier crap
>>83257011
lol genysis was already ultra mega hot garbage, courtney just made it worse
Since no one seems ready to admit it, I'll be the one to do it.
T3 was the best of the series.
>>83257898
>Implying it's not genysis
Childhood is arguing over whether T1 or T2 is better.
Adulthood is realizingSalvationis actually the best in the series.
>>83256058
>2017
>Saw T1 for the first time
Wow... how is this even possible? Millenial? Perhaps i should file a report.
>>83256455
Execute your self.
>>83256859
Terminate your self.
Childhood is thinking that 1 or 2 is better, adulthood is realizing that The Sharah Connor Chronicles was the best.
>>83256058
>I don't understand why he was such a forgettable character in Genysis.
because it was played by a buffed up actor? and because the roles were reversed?
>>83257492
>Childhood is preferring T2. Adulthood is realizing T1 is actually better.
What if you love both films equally (or close to equally)?
>>83256296
I never noticed smug Constanza was in Tech Noir that night, until now.
>>83256455
it can either be the rgeatest feeling in the world when that happens or crushingly disappointing.
>>83257492
I always thought T1 was a better movie.
Having just seen Terminator Salvation for the first time recently, am I the only one that feels like it's massively underrated? I expected absolute dogshit and it ended up being on par with the first two imo.
>>83258676
I just watched it once and it left me with a good taste.
>>83256058
i love how this movie is dripping 80s sleaze
>thick smoke in almost every room
