It was meh

The bank robbery scene in the beginning and the guillotine was fun to watch, but after that this movie was just boring and flat.

A lot of unnecessary scene that took the screentime, such as when they stranded in the island and Jack was forced to engage with literally who and had nothing to do with the plot.

That climax with the trident felt like something from capeshit and it was garbage at the end.
Lots of plot holes that intersect with the established mythology, such as Jack's compass. I thought he got it from Tia Dalma as a trade, did the writer watch the previous movies??

Johnny Depp acting is all over the place and that Bloom's son young adult is insufferable. That hot girl felt she didn't want to be in there

So much noticable CGI and green screen effect that took me off from the movie, the previous Pirates had much better effects than this shit.

Actually allying themselves with Salazar would have made more sense since he was after pirates and child turner wasnt one, neither the girl. In fact, Jack is so much more of a liability more than help, a comic relief, without his drunken cleverness all along the way.
