Think of this
>Wars began as tribe vs tribe
>Then city vs city
>Eventually country vs country
>Then multiple counties v countries
But. Imagine. When space travel. Colonization and such are possible. Thousands of years
>We will have realistic planet v planet. Moon v Moon wars
>Entire planets could be wiped out. Or invaded by other humans
>Aliens dont exist. The "aliens" who would invade Earth or other colonies would just be humans from other planets. Acting. Looking. And speaking different
Why has no show or movie ever done this. Like Martians are humans but weird looking due to mars having a different atmosphere
>P.S. Shit like infinite warfare dont count because everyone just looks human. Theres no way to tell anyone was from another planet
So. Could it work. Dropping the "green le aye lmao alien" for a more realistic humans who due to different atmospheres look different while still being human

Also because some planets may cut off ties to Earth or such. It's possible that those lone planets could forget human history over generations.
Now if such a planet was invaded by Earth Humans or such wouldnt it have an alien invasion type feel?

Presumably they will have WMDs then too and it makes war pretty boring.
RKVs for example.

Most old tv shows and films have done this out of pure budget constraints.
In startrek every alien is just a human with some make up or light prosthetics.

The plot to KILL ZONE.

But also they will have shields. And bombing doesnt win wars all the time
Germany bombed Britain for days and didnt stop them. And yes nukes work but I imagine it won't be that easy
>Yes star trek kinda did it. But those aliens are aliens not humans who evolved
>Unless they are and star trek has deepest lore
>>83219960
Also, some of the races in Star Trek have a common origin but grew apart in culture and appearance having settling different plant, the prime example being the Vulcans and Romulans.

*different planets
>Having intergalactic war when you can just fling rocks at each other at relativistic speeds to wipe out planets
Halo movie /thread

>unless they are ans star trek has the deepest lore
ehh, kind of
in TOS, where 90% of the aliens they come across are identical to humans, there's an offhand explanation that they originated from earth and got to space by some unknown means
in TNG, they have a whole episode dedicated to this, where all the big races find out they're descended from a single race that spread its genetic seed around the galaxy 3 billion years ago

Executor class is 10km. Not 19. It is not larger than the Eclipse.
