In a sense because some of the same jokes are reused but much better but it doesn't have the same feel

One of the best, so much cringe. Sometimes I have to leave the room.
It is in some ways like british comedy

It's very funny but I don't really enjoy the sitcom gimmick of putting the characters in increasingly uncomfortable situations, and this show does it a lot. Stresses me out and it's hackneyed at this point.

I think that is the point of Larry's character, never gonna get better, constantly a pain and neuroticly egosentric

I'd argue that it's always been on the same levels of uncomfortable situations. Larry does a good job of ups and downs when it comes to all the social etiquette but he's definitely too autistic when it comes to some things like with who damaged the table by using a cup without a coaster.
