I think it did well considering most people knew nothing about the franchise, and Disney made it impossible for newcomers to see the original film before Legacy because they were worried it would turn people off. I think a sequel to Legacy would've done much better.

And speaking of live-action Disney films, when will pic related get a sequel?

I know there was one that was planned but we never heard anything about it in the years since.
But still, I would prefer TR3N over Enchanted 2.

Also, Disney (under Touchstone) made the H2G2 movie adaptation and I think a sequel sounds good in paper but maybe the sequel won't live up to the first movie because Douglas Adams is now gone and he wrote most of the first movie's script.
It ended on a too-open cliffhanger and we all know the the H2G2 movie is different from the radio play, the books and the TV series.

And this adaptation is completely different from Takashi Shimizu's live-action adaptation from 2014.
