I don't think the new Star Wars movies are ubiquitous or popular enough to do a parody movie on. With the original trilogy there were so many iconic characters and scenes, but what can you parody in Force Awakens or Rogue One that the general audience will understand the references to? I honestly can't even remember any particularly memorable moments in either of those movies.

Good for Mel. Maybe he'll attack some of the sex and race issues that are contaminating the new movies.
Funny, she doesn't look Druish.

Spaceballs is probably his worst movie

Just rerelease Spaceballs and that can be the joke.

>not Dracula: Dead and Loving It
Remember that time they made an official Spaceballs flash cartoon for G4?
I expect much the same.

No damnit! Make Hitler on Ice and Jews in Space

>Spaceballs being worse than Robin Hood
>Spaceballs being worse than Dracula: Dead and Lovin' it
Netflix movie. Not theatrical.
Only returning characters are Bill Pullman and Mel Brooks even though some original actors are still alive. Just can't afford them on the Netflix budget. Will look cheaper than you thought possible.
Mel Brooks is like 91
It'd be funny if it was basically the same movie as Spaceballs but with a younger, more diverse cast.
The joke would be pretty subtle.

At least you know it will be better than Star Wars.
Unfunny man making another unfunny movie.
