The widening gyre part interests me the most, the idea of society collapsing in on itself, with the metaphor of the falcon unable to hear the falconer. An idea of loss of communication, a directionless continuation of culture without any real substance. It's impossible for society to become transcendent or for true art to be created without cause or reason.

I look at the eyes of these people on the covers and they speak volumes. No real emotion. A cynical expression, perhaps, 'acting'. A frown. A slight grin. A snarl. But in their eyes they lack any conviction, any substance, any direction. They are in the movie because they are in the movie, because its a Star Wars movie and Star Wars movie's are things that happen. Events that occur, but are devoid of any true reason beyond their own existence. Just drifting for the sake of drifting. Thoughtless and weak.

A spinning gyre collapsing in on itself. A falcon drifting in the wind. It's like looking at the opposite of art. Or not even that, the absence of art. The absence of direction. Do I care about Kylo Ren? Fin? Poe or Rey? No, I feel complete ambivalence towards them. I am absent of care or hatred or lust or anger. Nothing. And I don't think that anyone who made this film really cared about the characters either.

I see photos of people standing in a studio, all pretending to be invested in something inherently emotionally detached and dishonest.

Why does each Trio get progressively uglier? First row is fucking stacked, Harrison and Mark and objectively 10/10 for different reasons and Carrie was at least an 8.5-9 until the 90s hit her like a fucking brick.
