This movie scared the ever loving shit out of me when i first watched it.
Watched it again recently. Wasn't scary, but damn, the production quality was way ahead of it's time.

The movie becomes much better if you assume it takes place in the early Warhammer 40k universe.

Dead Space did it better to be quite honest.

It doesn't

Dead Space is great because it's so extremely unoriginal that it loops back to feeling fresh.

Jesus can you children fuck off back to your containment board already?

This. Video games are a superior artform anyway.
It's a masterpiece if you skip the last 20 minutes

i watched The Void(2017) and i headcanon it as a prequel of Event Horizon it just works

Film works fine without wh40k. Sure there are common themes in regards to faster than light travel and its relation to hell.

back from school already eh?

first 20 minutes are great, all downhill from there.
they should have just had a "regular" sci-fi monster on there and not some interdimensional demon-borne-hell shit. pic related is superior if you want a run of the mill sci-fi horror flick.

yeh it's pretty gud. should re-play at some point

video games will never be art, deal with it
