Opinion about Jurassic Park 3? I geniunely like it. It's

It's good. Better than World. But not as good as first one and second one.

I like it. Might just be nostalgia though, because I remember seeing in the theater when I was a kid.

The 2nd one has to be the most forgettable sequel of a series ever with the exception of disney renaissance sequels.

3rd should have been the only sequel and world was a cash grab

It's still the weakest but I think people shit on 2 way too much. It's on par with World for me. Some really iconic scenes with the cliff and baby T-rex/adults coming and having the T-rex in the middle of an actual town. I remember as much about Jurassic Park 2 as I do the first while it might not have flowed as well. Classic Spielberg. Fucking 76 ball rolling down the street.

Really underrated. Not to mention Pete Postlethwaite. I wish they had expanded more on him. Rip in peace. Damn good actor.

Unpopular opinion: It was the best of the entire series. I'm not watching Jurassic Park for it's story or dialogue, I'm watching for Bad-ass dinosaurs fighting over bad-ass dinosaurs. And I found the Spinousaurus abso-fucking-lutely amazing. He's the most badass dinosaur in the entire series(if you don't count world as canon), and watching him chase them through the Park was sweet. Also the Pterodactyls were pretty cool.

Well I feel like LW was really trying to bash me over the head with the 'muh animals' message a little harder than I'd like, and on top of that the only protagonist who wasn't a total unlikable retard was Malcolm. I mean these guys directly or indirectly caused a lot of deaths and the whole time we were expected to believe they are atop of the moral high ground. That and I thought of a lot of the movie's points were really hamfisted, I guess. Oh, and lets not forget the little girl.

This being said I found the performances to be a lot better, the special effects, environments, action, and suspense were really really great, and I think the score was pretty damn good.

Just my opinion on it, but I don't think any of the other 3 movies come even close to the quality presented by JP1. I still do watch and enjoy them though.

I disliked that they just kept progressing towards the concept "horror movie, but with dinosaurs". The first two movies at least had some sort of dialogue about morality of man interfering with nature; it may be argued how hamfisted all that was, but it was at least there and it was an attempt at having some sort of substance beyond the spectacle of "dinosaurs! woo!". 3 had none of that, which made it feel really empty. Aside from that, it was a fun movie for what it was, but it's definitely the weakest of the original trilogy.

I think at a time they could have made a story of a kid or teen surviving on the Island, and I think it could have been done pretty well even, but doing a movie of that specific kid in the times between the start of JP3 to the part where they find him would be pretty shitty.

Still, I'd go for an intense, suspenseful sort of horror/thriller of somebody hiding and surviving the dinosaurs on the island. Could be cool, but in the era of Jurassic World I don't think it could happen.

Me either, it's a moment of levity for a laugh in a JP movie that has quite a lot of jokey moments in it. It suits the film as it was made to be, if your complaint is that a joke like that doesn't belong, then there is plenty of other scenes to complain about instead of just focusing on this one.
