I'm British and the only American comedy I've ever liked and respected is Frasier. All other American comedy I find predictable, repetitive and just not fucking funny desu.
I've never watched Seinfeld and feel like I should, seeing as its one of the biggest comedy shows ever. So where do I start and will I even enjoy it?

Literally no one cares, nigel. Go eat spotted dick, pray to the queen, and offer your daughters to the muslim rape gangs.

Why are British "men" incapable of having more muscle than an otter body twink?

There's no laughter track in this thread to make your shit jokes funny, Cletus
>where do I start
At the beginning, you moron
Must have been what comedy was like on the Borscht belt at its height.
Wow, you're so sophisticated, I wish I was you, OP.

not an argument
>>82974087
also a bong
IASIP is brilliant
everything else is horrible
if a show needs a laugh track, its not funny.
>>82974087
Even the worst American comedy is still better than British comedy.
>LOOK HE'S WEARING WOMEN'S CLOTHING LMAO

Not a debate
Why watch jewfeld?

Laugh tracks are more common in UK sitcoms than American ones.

>shit, i'll just make up a statistic
>>82974814
S1-5 if this.
Impractical Jokers.
Friends (fuck you, it is good)
I hated Seinfeld.
I hate most British comedy too though.
>>82974279
None of that was a joke, other than the fact your country is laughable. You worship a queen, you eat horrible food and you let muslims rape your children. These are sad facts, not jokes.
>>82974895
I can't think of a UK sitcom that doesn't have a laugh track
>>82974895
I'm pretty sure it's true though. How else would anyone know when to laugh at british """"humor"""" of guys walking awkwardly?
Holy shit i just realized the most referenced bit from uk office is the boss dancing awkwardly. British comedy truly is shit.
>will i even enjoy it
Ostensibly not, ol' chap. Perchance thoust remain in thine own wheelhouse as it were.
>>82974087
skip the first season

>How else would anyone know when to laugh at british """"humor"""" of guys walking awkwardly?
Talk about low hanging fruit
Monty Python was way, way better than that.
Looking back it was often problematic, like most 90s media. May be triggering at points.

It's like 4 episodes, and the lack of polish is actually endearing, like stage plays
>>82974087
It has very American sensibilities. The delivery is very much a New York/East Coast of the US type of comedy. Though, I'm sure that means little to you...
I can't predict how it will translate to your own sense of humor... Personally speaking, I've loved quite a few British comedies even in spite of, perhaps, not being able to fully appreciate all of the nuance. The jokes in each episode of Seinfeld can be elaborate and well-crafted. I guess that could be considered a universally appreciated aspect of the show...

Watch season 3 to 7

Terrible advice, Larrys Charles and David did some of their best work in 2, some classic episodes. The Busboy can be skipped though.

Just dive in anywhere. It's a fucking sitcom! If you like it you can consider a clean run through.
Also, watch Curb.
