Can we have a good ol' fashioned BvS thread? For old times' sake.
Fuck off.
I dunno, Superman doesn't look constipated enough
>>82964042
BVS is true kino
marvelcucks not welcome
bruh look at this dude
>>82964042
Man, that movie was pure shit.
>>82964053
You have to go back.
>>82964104
>terrible casting for Lois Lane
>awkward Superman scenes with Lois
>the worst Wonder Woman yet
>shitty ending
The parts with Batman are the only parts worth watching. Even then, you still have (1) weirdly fit Alfred and (2) the sloppy handling of the Flash scene.
>>82964216
>The parts with Batman are the only parts worth watching.
Fuck yeah, the way he bat-murdered those crooks was hella fukken epik
Stop invincible son
I like homosexuality.
>>82964074
Ahh yes, the DCEU- the franchise with all the (((diverse))) and le strong female characters- is the cuck universe.
Sure thing anon, dumping what I have
>>82964525
Fuck, I forgot how terrible Lex was in it.
>>82964042
Of course we can!
Isn't it awesome that all the stuff we picked up from BvS's themes is carrying forward even into the films Snyder himself isn't directing? I honestly can't wait to see how exactly they portray Superman's presence being the catalyst for this return of the Heroic Age.
>>82964395
>"STOP, invincible son! You are a literal god among insects, but the planet isn't ready for you yet. I hope that in the past 18 years of your life I have taught you the morals needed to not abuse your gifts. I did not intend for this to be my final act on this Earth, but I'm somewhat glad it is. Even if it pains you, you must wait before revealing yourself to the world. I do not know when that time will be but I feel inside that one day the existential shock you gave me and your mother when we found you will be delivered to the whole world one day. Because if you exist then who knows what could be out there? Unlike you however the shock may be followed up with a legitimate threat and at that time you will there to protect your mother and everyone else on this rock like the good man we raised you to be. Please be strong for them both, my son. Endure all the death from human threats and natural disasters because they are preferable to you revealing your presence. Let it strengthen your resolve to one day protect us all. As I stare into eyes here with this tornado roaring behind me, I just want you realize that you were sent to this planet for a reason and saving me isn't it, but above all I want you know that I love you."
I'm offering therapy to DC fans, first session is free and confidential. Most major insurance providers accepted
No. 20 somethings can't help but pretend to have watched old Superman and Wonder Woman for shitpostings sake.
Really makes you think, doesn't it?
>>82964104
You must hate all superhero movies if you think Man of Steel is bad
>>82964459
>DC is le redpilled XD
aaaaand thanks for making me feel appalled by this kino anon.
>>82965691
>Halt, invincible son. I want you to let me die because it's important that you never EVER save someone if it would inconvenience you. I will also bring up later that even if you save people, others might die so you shall not enjoy helping others.
>>82964042
I avoid most movie franchises but MoS is the first time I ever liked Superman. I grew up watching Timm's Justice League. I am sure there are others like me. Do not let the fags on the internet smugly say otherwise.
>>82965834
nice, me too. I didn't watch anything except trailer 3 for MoS and I decided to watch it. No regrets.

I really like Ben Affleck as Bruce. Seems like they've kinda ruined it in Justice League.
>>82965995
It's Snyder. It'll be kino, and Affleck will not let us down.
What do you retards think about this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUORL-bvwA0
>>82966107
generic shitty villan
>>82965834
They do a really great job of humanizing him. For me, a lot of the dramatic tension in a good Superman story comes from him struggling to find the best path forward not just for himself, but for all humanity.
>>82964042
god, the movie sucked
>>82966107
Terrence Stamp did a fantastic job and his interpretation works well for the Donner films, but I prefer what Shannon brought to the character. There's a wounded quality to his performance that keeps a thread of sympathy present in his Zod.
>>82964042
Is that symbolically supposed to be the American flag behind him?
>>82964042
The 'BvS is kino' meme is dead anon.Bury it.
>>82964216
>terrible casting for Lois Lane
Fuck you. Amy is perfect.
>>82966377
Your dubs don't lie.
>>82966107
I've never seen the older Superman movies and I probably never will. Everything I've seen of them has been SHIT.
>>82965758
You must suffer from cerebral palsy if you think it was proper film.
>>82966457
The first two are classics, but you have to into them knowing that Donner was going for a totally different take on the character. Donner's Superman really is the height of the Silver Age's cornball, do-no-wrong Mary Sue. Fortunately, both Donner and Reeve both knew where to go with that to make him entertaining.
>>82964216
>>terrible casting for Lois Lane
fuck is wrong with you?
>>82964542
You screencapped this.
>>82966060
Of course, considering this board has made the word kino mean "trash for mouthbreathers"
>>82966242
>but I prefer what Shannon brought to the character.
Lots of snarling and a stupid haircut? Thank you, zaddy.
>>82966613
Nigger everyone except for the most vocal contrarians think Amy Adams was a horrendous casting
>>82966769
> everyone hates it because I said so
oh I see, you're just talking outta your ass then.
>>82966242
him and ledger really are the goat dc villains.
>>82967063
Once I got over my borderline autistic insistences of "not muh Lex," Itealized that Eisenberg was fucking fantastic, too.
>>82967063
Nicholson and Leto are better Jokers.
>>82967844
>once I got over my borderline autistic insistences of "not muh Lex,"
I didn't know people gave a shit about Superman The Animated Series until these last few years.
>>82965832
Nice memery. Way to miss the point completely
>>82964042
Bvs was shit. Get over it
>>82967887
They're better comic book Jokers. Ledger's performance was perfect for the Nolanverse, but it doesn't really fit well in a more comic book atmosphere.
>>82966377
Between your dubs and the glorious bath scene i'm willing to belive you.
>>82967063
I love a guy who recolonizes Shannon's greatness. It disgusts me how underrated he is.
>>82968059
I did not mean to say recolonizes.
Something I've been curious about:
Unlike the comics arc where "Superman" was buried and "Clark" was only missing, but later "found alive" amidst the wreckage, they buried them both in BvS.
I can't help but think that's going to be a plot point later. I think maybe we have a nod to the Clark vs. Superman fight from Superman III coming. I really, really hope we do.
