My fav characters from the movie are Franco, McBride and Fassbender.

The female lead just wasn't interesting at all and I would have preferred Shaw as the lead.

It was never meant to be in the actual movie. It was a prologue. Promotional material. People are just looking for shit to complain about at this point.
