With "The Mummy" coming out next year and Universal retrying to attempt to do the whole Monster Cinematic universe. Lets talk about the classic.
What are the best movies. I'm slowly making my way, but so far.
Wolfman > Dracula > Frakenstein > Son of Frakenstein > shit > Bride of Fraken
None of these are watchable today.
Wait. You've ranked Bride at the bottom?

>were getting an awful shitty mummy reboot that looks like a mix of mission impossible +capeshit quips instead of a gritty, haunting movie that takes place in egypt like the original mummy with brendan fraser

>Monster Cinematic Universe
Fuck off

literally took 40 minutes for shit to happen. Didn't get decent until the monster met the blind man. Bride had a good ending though, so maybe I'm a little harsh.

The original mummy is actually really good
They did it before everyone else. Now they get accused of bandwagon.

Could you really call them a "cinematic universe?" I mean, they just tend to ignore the other films and just had a crossover. I mean, Wolfman literally died in his movie.

Frankenstein > The Mummy > Wolfman > Bride of Frankenstein > Invisible Man > Phantom of the Opera (Orig. Lon Chaney) > Creature of the Black Lagoon > >>>>> Dracula > Werewolf of London > shit > Phantom of the Opera (1943 color version) >>>> She-wolf of London
I know someone will give me shit about Dracula (just find it boring most of its running time, I prefer more sexier Dracula movies) and Claude Rains' Phantom remake (shit mask, plus I hate the technicolor look)

Who DOESN'T think this film will pull an Amazing Spiderman 2 and do so badly that the other films in the shared universe fail to take off and even get made??
I wouldn't mind another Wolfman though desu

There was another wolfman, it was decent but got lambasted so badly that a reboot won't happen for another couple years, at least.Yes, that statement is intended to sound disgusting.
