Couldn't care about anything happened in Sicario, maybe I watched too much liveleak videos so the thrill of seeing Mexico as a shithole wasn't there.

Basically every film by Denis Villenue.

Cool story, bruh. I too have seen those cartel videos. Edgy stuff, right? Oh man, those screams, all brutal and bloody and shit, total hardcore. Fuckin' nihilistic as HELL, man!

Pro-tip: you can still have room left over in your brain for something important (entertainingly-important, at that) after being seemingly "desensitized" to your internet's version of reality. You can still feel for characters and immerse yourself in their situation and hope for the best for them.

That is, if you aren't genuinely fucking autistic. OP, do yourself a favour and go outside. Get a tan. Find an outdoor hobby. Seriously.

were you trying to make the most reddit post you could think of or did it just happen naturally?
>>
You should stick to JJ Abrams movies then. Good films are not for everyone
>>
>>82924892
It was worth watching, but just weird in general, especially the end.

Glad I watched it, but I don't think I'll ever willingly re-watch it.
>>
>>82925054
cringe. get a trip.
>>
>>82924892
I think it suffers from a lack of scope.
Theres a handful of missions and even less full on action so you are left wanting more.

Would be fantastic as a pilot episode for a Sicario tv show.

I liked Sicario but I had that sensation with pic related. Maybe I watched too much liveleak videos of 16th century Japanese missionaries so the thrill of seeing Japan as an anti-Christian shithole wasn't there.
>>
>>82924892
Yeah maybe you've been desensitised. Great movie otherwise.
>>
>>82924892
Slumdog Millionaire. It was like the best movie ever made for the six months of its shelf life. Now nobody remembers it.
>>
>>82924892
I don't understand, the movie wasn't good because it wasn't edgy enough?
So if the film had more goreporn and blood it would somehow be better?
Do you judge the quality of every film that way or?

Calm down fag

Yeah, the hype surrounding that movie was bizarre looking back on it.
>>
It was good. Loved the parts with Del Toro. Looking forward to the sequel that focuses on him. Emily Blunt was terrible in this and she was miscast. Why did they bring a women with them? She couldn't handle the pressure like the men.
>>
>>82925481
It was ok, but I have no idea why people were pulling their hair out over it. Was it the designated minority film of that year or what?
>>
>>82926238
>Why did they bring a women with them?

It's literally spelled out in the movie.
>>
>>82924892
You are not allowed to have opinions on movies if you don't like this....

But she was shit. They should have fired when she panicked during the street shootout.
>>
>>82926362
They were just using her. Try to pay attention to the movie next time.

>>82926362
...either retarded or bait... learn to listen. Dialogue is important ;D

>an FBI agent worked with the CIA to capture a prominent drug cartel member
naw, man, there was nothing I haven't seen before, even the revenge subplot felt like it was written by a teenager with violent fantasy
>>82926324
just another action movie scene with guns, man
