Amazon marketing department dropped the ball HARD when advertising this show (mainly the name "Patriot" doesn't stick out or mean much).

It's pretty great though. Amazing side characters, and every scene has a different kind of laugh.

Almost every scene with Leslie, Icabod and Stephen plus his aide was pure comedy gold.
Agree, the weakest part was for sure the main character.
Still hard to believe that intelligence agencies did not have good reliable methods to sneak money in and out of countries transcontinentally.

I actually like the main character, but he isn't really supposed to be played for laughs, his entire life spins further down the drain with each passing episode and nobody but his wife seems to realize how far gone he is even though its incredibly apparent.

I'm a little biased though, this is my probably my favorite new show in years. the comedy was excellent, the tension and drama was excellent, the plot and character writing was great, The atmosphere and tone of the show is top notch. this is seriously the best show that nobody cares about right now. very few things airing right now even compete with it.

So who was the most QT on this show? Lakeman's wife, The Detective, The Muslim woman that just wanted to watch Tangled or the Japanese Klepto? The Detective really grew on me throughout the season.

Not OP but I have made a few shill threads on this show because I love it and Amazon marketing seems to want it to fail, they would rather promote Transparent or that mediocre Heist/crime show Sneaky Pete.

Luckily it just got renewed for season 2 so now I only shill for fun and to get people to watch the show because I guarantee it's better than whatever other trash they are watching.
