>it's a /tv/ calls a terrible movie good, not because of cinematic value, but because it alligns with their political views episode
>>82872827

>Butthurt leftist who hasn't even seen the movie judges it cause it's about Benghazi thinking it has a political slant cause of clips of fox news they see on Comedy Central shows
>>82872917
I hate leftist polititcs movies just as much though. Probably more since they tend to be more obnoxious.
My point being, if some kind of political agenda becomes the main concern of a movie, the other spects usually suffer.
Micheal Bay is the poor man's Michael Mann and should only be watched for comedic purposes.

this is a shit movie, but this is also a shit thread

Not true.
Transformers 4 is the most expensive experimental film ever made. It has no cohesive narrative, no linear editing. It's an excercise in dadaism, a 2oo million dollar wonderment. It's the abandonment of form and, most likely, the future of filmmaking.
>The left never holds up movies that align with their political values..
And the winner of best picture is...

It's impossible to get replies to a thread nowadays without opening it with some kind of meme or linking it to an established general or semi-general.
That's just how it is now, adapt or go to reddit...

They do all the time (much more so than the right even) but since /tv/ is right-leaning those movies don't apply to the thread topic.
>it's a /tv/ likes a movie just because everyone else says it's shit episode

Is it bad though?
Condename uncle was destroyed by critics but turned out to be one of the best action movies of 2015. It was also one the 3 total movies that were no sequels or remakes that year.
I'll give ritchie the benefit of the doubt and go see the movie.

>But the movie didn't even have any politics
>can't comprehend a Michael Bay movie

any movie that's about war has an agenda, that being said it doesn't mean you can't enjoy it
