Where should I start with Woody Allen? Annie Hall? I'm kind of fond of self deprecating humor so it seems as though he's right up my alley.

Start with Sleeper. Then Love and Death, which is, in my opinion, his funniest movie. Those two are fantastic, straight up slapstick. Then get into his more serious, but still funny masterpieces, Annie Hall, Manhattan, and Hannah and Her Sisters. Follow it up with the more drama than comedy, Crimes and Misdemeanors.
There's plenty of other good ones, but that's enough to start with.

This guy, but I'd start with Love and Death, personally.
Midnight in Paris is worth watching for his newer work.

I'd recommend putting on My Stepdaughter's in the Attic before you consult his deeper work, that's always a good test run
Deconstructing Harry is pretty good.
Start with Interiors, then Broadway Danny Rose, then Celebrity.
