you know this movie had some great Argento stuff in it
but its kind of a mess
why make her "friends with insects" but also monkeys? and she has psychic sleepwalking powers???
Way too busy.

good taste OK I really love that movie
I also love the clusterfuck of this, and you forgot that there is also a serial killer on the loose

Everything about this film is great
except the script
the reveal at the end wasn't great. I assumed it was going to be her "half brother" or something like that (hence why she had some connection to the killer).
Also why make her dad a famous actor? but it never really factors into the script.
Don't fucking worry about plot solidity in an Argento movie. This one is completely redeemed by the batshit insanity of it's final twenty minutes. Brilliant.

also you're forgetting
>falling and almost drowning in a pool of shit
I'm not sure many other movies do this

Most beautiful Connelly for me was Once Upon a Time in America, this, and Labyrinth, but that's because I'm a little younger than her, so I grew up watching these with her being that slightly older movie crush.

you sure?
Argento was such a god tier director
When did he become a mess? Did he stop caring? or do directors just become bad when they get old
