Baseball makes Oscar Nod tier movies.

I would have had them talk to each other. The one thing they needed to do, Tommy let himself get almost fucking crippled to avoid what he was feeling that shit is insane. That was the whole point they needed each other and we never saw them on the same page. That was the crux of the movie to me. To get them on a united front. Maybe that's too Hollywood as well i dunno, it's just what i wanted when i watched it.
