Part 2 was decent, after that everything is just riding on fandom

Feels kinda lazy to put them in chronological order, but whatever. Alien 3 I've warmed to over the years. It should be by far the darkest of the movies, it just feels anticlimactic despite all that happens. And although I never liked Resurrection that much, at least it's aware of its own stupidity unlike the prequels.

Alien and Aliens is a toss up. I like them for different reasons. It's a well-crafted atmospheric horror, and a well-crafted action movie.
