Fellowship EE adds a lot of enjoyable scenes but nothing imperative and it kinda messed up the pacing/flow of some parts.

TT EE is pure kino and is how the movie needs to be watched

Rotk EE is objectively worse that the theatrical, the scenes it adds look dumb and unfinished and they ruin scenes they're attached to.

I fucking love Two Towers, but Fellowship is the most watchable. All the other movies lack that contrast between a calm pastoral atmosphere and a legitimately threatening wartime feeling.
