The most powerful scene in any of Louis' documentaries.
Not porn, not Westboro, not are you a real nigga.
This scene is the ultimate showcase, the peak of what Louis' annoying, naive questioning technique can achieve:

Pretty good, OP.
HOWEVER

Why does john Oliver have hair?
Louis is kinda bad, his production team is very good
The African guy made his case quite well, I thought.

He did, and we don't even have to agree with him to think so.
By constantly pestering him with his questions, Louis finally broke through in that last scene of the documentary and allowed to African farmer to really tell it as it is, or at least as he sees it, without editorialising.
It's rare that we see someone going this deep in that kind of programme, even in the stuff Theroux makes. It's a stark contrast to the detached style Louis himself employs.
The farmer is actually being sincere, and forceful about it.

This guy was documentary gold. There's a line he says in this clip that I think is fucking great:

>All that will remain is the top part of your skull and your boots. The rest they will eat everything... and they will play with your clothes"

Yes. I really think he's the most underrated Thorax subject and that the episode is maybe the most underrated as well.
>I hate fucking elephants because they destroy every good tree
That made me laugh a bit.
No, It's actually great. He's incredibly non confrontational, calm and respectful in his manner. It's the other people that freek out. I feel in this instance in the back of their head there is some part of them that thinks they may be wrong. The persistence only draws that out.
>The only way to preserve the species
>is to hunt the species
fucking blew my mind
HI ECCHU BATSU
>>82640419
>"walk past them feel if you feel any love there"
>"I'm not sure I want to"
lol

It makes sense how he explains it, though. They've only restored the environment these species thrive in because rich westerners want to hunt them, otherwise they would just have regular farms and most of these animals wouldn't survive.

Where'd these guys disappear to?
