First of all, not acknowledging that Canada is a big country and someone from Newfoundland sounds completely different from someone in the Yukon.

Point is, when you're from the south, the standard "southern" accents actors try out sound weird as shit. Rick and Maggie from the Walking dead sound so god damn strange, I don't even know what they're aiming at. We goes for Matthew McConaughey, oddly enough. Like he's trying super hard.
