The comic covers every genre imaginable. And as the show is based on the city I can imagine there being complete tonal shifts every episode. One could be a dark depression detective story and next episode could be about a fatty, a 700lb proffesional eater

Karl Urban really pushed for a sequel since he's a big fan of the comics, but it didn't work out. Hence why I was so hyped to see this, a bit less now that I know it won't be centered on Dredd himself.
Hopefully what happens is that they tey a 1st season without him being the central character, and make a 2nd season with him and anderson. The actress is such a beauty and she was legit good.
