The typical models were born as adults with a 4 year life time so nobody really knows if they age. If Deckard were a replicant he would have to be a model with a normal human life spand so I assume he would age. They are after all genetically modified humans.

replicants age ultra fast and die within 3-5 years. the movie pretends its taking place decades after the original but it is really taking place 5 years later. that is the twist at the end. both deckard and new protag are both replicants.

The new trailer does seem to lean heavily on this point. I will be a bit annoyed if this is a "big reveal" 3/4 through the film prior to the conclusion.

It is only an appealing plot point for people who are largely unaware of the original film, and the discussion around Deckard being a replicant.
